Shareholders Mike Jones and Shaun Hassett helped earn a verdict of noninfringement for LG Electronics Inc. on April 28, 2023 in Waco. Jones and Hassett were participants in the LG trial team that defeated a claim for $56 million brought by Carolyn Hafeman pertaining to three computer protection patents. After a week-long trial, the jury found no infringement by LG and that the three patents are invalid.
