The Directors and Shareholders of Potter Minton have elected E. Glenn Thames, Jr. as President and Managing Shareholder of the Firm effective January 1, 2018.
Mr. Thames graduated with honors from Baylor Law School in 1992 where he was Research and Topics Editor of the Baylor Law Review. He joined Potter Minton in 1994 after serving two years as a law clerk to the late Judge William M. Steger of the Eastern District of Texas. Over the last 23 years, Mr. Thames has handled a wide variety of legal matters ranging from estate planning and probate to appeals and complex commercial litigation. He is a past president of the Eastern District of Texas Bar Association, a founding member of the T. John Ward Inn of Court, and a life fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. He is also active in numerous professional organizations and is a frequent speaker on topics pertaining to federal court litigation.
